Buying a Puppy
Puppies are available to approved homes.
In order to become an approved home, we must be satisfied that the puppy will receive the best care, that it will be safe and above all loved and cared for. We match puppies to appropriate families based on the puppy’s temperament, personality, purpose and individuals qualities, and the family’s needs, circumstances and lifestyle. We often get asked “can I pick my puppy?’’ Whilst we do take your preference into consideration during the selection process, we know the puppies best as we have spent the first 8 weeks of their lives with them. As such we will match the puppy to your lifestyle and family dynamics.
Please contact us and we will email you the Puppy Application Questionnaire. In the questionnaire tell us as much about yourself as possible, this will help with the matching process. Once you have completed it, we will be in contact with you to discuss your application, at which stage you will then be placed on our waitlist.
The Process
Once you have completed the puppy Questionnaire we will contact you in order to discuss your application. After this you will be placed on our waitlist. Once a puppy becomes available you will be contacted. This normally occurs after we have had a litter and the puppies are about 2 weeks old. At this stage we will ask for a non-refundable deposit. This secures a puppy for you and ensures you are committed to the puppy. When the puppies are 6-7 weeks of age we have a meet-and-greet day. On this day you come out to our place and meet the puppies and their Mum. This is an important part of the process as it allows us to get to know you and for you to meet your future family member. It is also a fun day filled with lots of puppy play and cuddles! Puppies then leave our care at eight weeks of age.
