About Us

How it started…

My love for the breed started with my first Labrador, Halea, a chocolate female. She was a quiet and calm puppy and now at 7 years of age a loyal and loving companion. I felt that I wanted to share the love and friendship I had found and started to inform myself about breeding Labradors. It has now been 7 years since I first met her and our bond only grows with each passing year.

For me breeding is not just a hobby, it is a way of life. All my dogs are part of the family and I spend countless hours with them each and every single day. They are all socialised, trained and loved.

The puppies we raise are loved from the minute they are conceived as we support and look after the pregnant girl, ensuring she is healthy and comfortable every step of the way. Once the puppies are born we spend countless hours with them. Ensuring they are healthy and raised in a social and well adjusted environment, giving them the best start in life. We handle our puppies from birth and ensure they are used to people picking them up and being around them. Once they are older they socialise not only with us humans but most importantly with the other dogs and animals on the farm. This ensures they are desensitised and that you get a puppy who is relaxed and happy.

As Breeders….

What sets us apart from some other breeders is that whilst aesthetics are important, they are not the most important thing to us. We breed for temperament and personality, first and foremost. The girls that I keep are not always the most ‘typical’ looking Labrador, as I will choose a good temperament above looks. This is to ensure I breed puppies who are not only atheistically pleasing but who have great personalities, who are smart and loyal, loveable and calm. The fact that the puppies are all raised in a natural environment also ensures we have well balanced and even temperament puppies. They are raised on the farm, playing and interacting with all the other animals. As such they are desensitised and socialised from a very young age, this ensures that you have a well rounded and calm puppy.

Labradors bred as loyal companions and friends.

As Trainers…

We try and work with the owner and their dogs in a way that suits their unique needs. What works for one may not work for another. As such we assess each case individually and tailer a training program designed to assist with the problem at hand. Often it is about training the owner, who then needs to train the dog and continue working with them even when we are not there. When you contact us we will come to your house and assess the situation, and then make a plan to address any issues.
