Visena’s Swift Litter

Visena had a gorgeous litter of puppies in December 2022. The sire was a black boy, Tapua River of Dreams (Teddy), as such we had 10 puppies, 3 yellow girls, 2 yellow boys, 3 black girls and 2 black boys. The birth was effortless for Visena and a joy for us, especially as it was quite extraordinary. Visena gave birth to her pups in the following order: black girl, black boy, black girl, black boy, black girl, yellow girl, yellow boy, yellow girl, yellow boy, and yellow girl. There is also a story behind the naming of the litter. My sister is a huge Taylor Swift fan, the puppies were born on Taylor Swift’s birthday, and there were 10 puppies for Taylor Swift’s 10 albums….voila, the Swift Litter. Each pup got a pedigree name after an album and a song on that album. Visena was great Mumma from the start and despite this being her first, and rather large, litter she did fantastically throughout the birth and mothering the pups. The puppies were all beautiful with great temperaments. They went on to great families, all of whom we are still in contact with. As breeders it is extremely important to us to remain in touch with our puppy families, offering guidance and support as needed.
